“Meet me in the middle of your story when the soul is worn but wise.”

— Angie Weiland-Crosby

Soul love.

You already know you want a life filled with love — receiving, giving, breathing, feeling, and surrounded by it. But the “romantic love connections” you’ve found and experienced so far aren’t as satisfying as you’d like.

They haven’t filled you up.

They haven’t awakened your spirit or set your soul on fire.

They haven’t grown with you through the seasons of your life, challenged you to ponder greater things or unthinkable possibilities, or offered genuine, lasting happiness. Instead, they feel conditional — transactional, requiring you to act or be a certain way.

You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours.

A constant need to perform or be “good enough” to keep your partner satisfied. A love that has to be earned or strongly influenced by external factors, such as status, physical attraction, or material stability, and may fade or become turbulent if those conditions change.

A love based on fear.

A comfort-zone relationship in which you resign to stay because of financial, family, or other determining factors such as religion or because you believe it’s too late for change.

You’ve been together for so long, so why rock the boat now?

I’m too old to want and seek change…

I might be an outlier on this one, but I never overstayed in a relationship that stopped growing and evolving with me along my life path. As in, forever, amen. Till death do us part.

For all eternity and beyond.

We share kids, finances, property, investments, “duty” sex every other night, and retirement plans.

It all matters not.

If a relationship fails to connect, evolve, and expand within the ecstatic realm of universal love — if it ceases to challenge my awareness, leaving deep intimacy stagnant, casting shadows on the light of consciousness, and falling into an endless “waking sleep” on autopilot, leaving a gaping void in its wake — I find myself unable to endure it.

But that’s me.

I don’t want an ordinary kind of love because staying together for the sake of external circumstances or opting to take the easier path isn’t the same as growing together.

I believe each relationship and connection in our lives is a stepping stone toward greater self-awareness, guiding us toward deeper truths about who we are — if we’re willing to face those often complex aspects of ourselves and open to making changes.

I believe that each love, whether fleeting or enduring, has its own lessons and unique gifts that help us uncover parts of ourselves that we might not have otherwise explored.

For instance, in all his ignorance and immaturity, my first husband taught me to be more assertive and stand up for myself.

These were difficult lessons because, from a young age, I struggled to find my voice, especially with males. Being the “polite and agreeable” girl was deeply ingrained and hard to shake. As a result, the men in my life often took advantage, becoming controlling, dominating, and overlooking my needs.

It took a while, but I finally left.

My experience with him inevitably flung me into the unknown without a lifeboat in sight until I discovered my divinity in the stars and my faith in spirit — an endless path of growth unfolding, leaning into my connection with God or Source energy, looking at life lessons anew, boundless self-discovery and rising awareness — seeking truths I may have not otherwise explored.

The pain and trauma of that relationship are a part of who I am, but it was never a life-long lesson to physically endure. I could never have remained in such a low vibrational relationship with an emotionally unaware man.

Reflecting on my past relationships, I see they were important pit stops on my journey. Each encounter taught me invaluable lessons about love, self-assertion, and personal growth.

They illuminated what I seek from my current position — a connection that transcends the ordinary and embodies the essence of soul love.

A consciously deep-feeling, transformative kind of love with each other and the Divine.

Thank you for the springboard, first (and second) husband.

Experiences = Lessons = Takeaways = Contrast = Knowing what you know and don’t know, and what you want and don’t want = Insight and Wisdom = Life’s Little Gems.

So, it’s not so much about the challenges life throws at us but how we turn them into something beautiful, finding the gems in life’s chaos and turning them into our masterpieces.

Likewise, in the realm of love and relationships.

With every connection, we become more attuned to our essence, moving closer to an eventual soul love so profound and vast that it becomes a constant source of growth and awakening for both people involved.

That’s my belief.

That’s my Dharma in this life.

To transform these problematic experiences into wisdom, find beauty in life’s challenges, know when to walk away from that which no longer serves, and grow toward an ever-deepening, soul-centered love.

I don’t want conditional love.

I want soul love.

Soul Love is an Experience

We cannot quantify soul love. Its qualities elude definition, and it cannot be weighed or seen.

It exists as both everything and nothing simultaneously.

Here are the key elements of this transformative soul-love union:

  • In the felt sense of the body while unbounded in the soul.
  • Omnipresent in fusion and wild in higher, ecstatic love.
  • In true intimate union with the Divine God/Goddess nature within.

If your mind struggles to grasp this, I invite you to tune into your body instead.

Have you felt any stirring, opening, or expansion within? A sense of wonder or an inner knowing?

Soul Love resides in the body.

It reverberates through every cell.

It reawakens and strengthens your “feeling” muscles.

It activates your soul to become available for deep love — to actually feel loved by someone so profoundly that you witness God in each other’s eyes and everywhere else around you, surrounded by a halo of gold seen only by you, feeling yourself in every breath as you stand together as sacred, unified beings.

Deep down, you already know soul love because a part of you yearns to feel it, fill yourself with it, and give and receive it with another.

A part of you wants to revel in its radiant glow as you fall into the shared mystery within us through each other’s hearts.

Falling…

This soul-level longing to unite is a genuine desire. Vibration is felt in and through all things and experienced as a unifying force where we re-enter home, connecting with what we are all looking for — pure Love.

Soul Love is Sacred

I yearn for soul love to pursue me relentlessly and emerge from the center of my being with the keys to the sacred locks of my body and soul.

I yearn for a love filled with synchronicity and spiritual magic—a love that brings altered states of consciousness, profound energetic shifts, and mystical experiences—unfolding in our sacred space.

I want to feel into love-making as a spiritual conduit, where intimate experiences with my partner become a pathway for transcendental energy to flow through me, igniting us both and merging our energies into one:

I don’t just want to write or speak to you but to rise within you. I want to be that spark that stirs in your body and melts into the sweet warmth of arousal. I want to be present in that deeper exhale and in the sigh of your heart as it opens to love. I want to celebrate the intimate merging of souls as we reach beyond the veils of time and space, touching each other most profoundly.

I want to know you in the deepest sense, from within, to arise as you and savor the joy of being both this singular self and, at once, all selves. I long to be truly known by you — not through the clumsy exchange of words and symbols, with all their conflicting meanings, but from within, allowing you into the most sacred, intimate spaces of my being that have walked this path.

I invite you to come inside and become me,

Soul love.
